Is there any kind of a mold problem in Maine?

Isn't there mold just about everywhere that's there's water (check) and rocks (check)? I don't recall having huge allergy attacks when I went to camp but that was (eek) over 25 years ago. It gets damp there so I'd say, yeah, there's gotta be mold.
