January 2002. Dell. No complaints (after I boosted the memory.)
I have had my 2nd Dell since the beginning of this year. Love it!
Bought my imac - my home computer - the last week of 1999.
Previously I had a used LC2 mac, groan. Also a pc I traded a painting for; that became our first computer at work, another groan, it was probably seven years old when we gave up on it. Now we have another pc there using windows xp. It's probably two years old now. Much earlier, back in the eighties, I used my husband's cast off pc, could it have been a sanyo? I used wordstar on it, for years and years, well, until I got the mac LC2 somewhere around, oh, '92 or 93.. which I extended the life of until I bought the imac in '99.
Have my eye on a new mac, waiting for money to fly into my bank account.
Four years for my trusty HP. Put in 60 gigs of hard drive and loads of memory and it sputters on . But have replaced a monitor and 2 printers. What a racket.
