Is this a misplaced modifier?

In the sentence:

"In the Spring of 2013 the only things I’d hunted were the perfectly innocent civilians on the simulated streets of Grand Theft Auto V and any rogue Willie Wonka Rainbow Nerds that might have wedged themselves between the couch cushions while playing it."

Is "while playing it" misplaced because it's too far from Grand Theft Auto or is the meaning clear enough? Thanks!

@mgdpublic,
No, it's not misplaced. The meaning is clear because there is nothing else that could be confused with Grand Theft Auto V in regard to it having been played.
