I Just put in a new meter box new breaker box for 200 amp. I talked to inspector when i was putting in everything he said if it was pre-existing it is allowed. The county inspector passed my work that I did. Then I just found out from the electric company that i cant have my weather head where it is cause it goes above a flat roof and that it was not allowed. so to make it to the corner of the house so it is not above the roof i have to add 20 ft. I am using 4 ought wire. would i be allowed to put a splice in it to add the extra length. I just put in 40 ft. and do not want to buy 60 ft. if i dont have to and just splice in the 20.
