Holy Traffic Nightmare: Pope Francis Visit Will Shut Down These Precious Manhattan Streets

Will you or someone you know be planning on witnessing this bizarro event in Washington DC, NYC, or Philadelphia?

@tsarstepan,
bizarro?
A lot of people like him, including some of us atheists, me, for example. I don't happen to enjoy parades much, and stalled traffic even less, but parades are fairly common. I get it is an expense to the cities, but again, that is fairly common.

What do you think is so bizarre?

I watched part of his speech to congress. I think it will be remembered for years to come. People were wiping their eyes. It was really good. I am not catholic, but I really admire this man and think he is sure to make a difference during his time as Pope.

The whole spectacle makes him seem bigger then the Beatles at their peak popularity.
