There are hand written posters hanging around my neighborhood, it states...
Lost
Big black cat with green eyes
please call ######
Let's seeeeeeee.........hmmmmmmm..............
who do we all know that fits this description?
If there is a reward should I turn him in?
JL, are you there? he-he-he :-}
Hey Paula. I have seen similiar signs. At times I am tempted to find a similar cat and hold it for ransom. Of course, I never do. :wink:
The poster depicts JL's avatar.
How much ransome could we get for him? he-he-ha-ha
He seems pretty inteligent, good to have around the house, like a cat.
Ack! you found me (out). Don't give me away; my former masters were abusive. Can I come and live with you?
masters? masters? no cat has a master jln .... perlease!!!! Former oppressors maybe - masters? no way! that's for dogs

Maybe no human masters, but among fellow felines, there is a clear heirarchy, and the weak ones do accept their place in the scratching post order (close enough to pecking, I think).
Mi รจ sembrato di vedere un gatto (I thought I saw a pussy-cat),

You can live with me-
but do everything I say.
There's a new master in the land-
and her name is Paulaj.
I think Vivien's right. I'm probably really a dog. O.K., I'll be obedient.
Good enough!
Women are alway's right, just ask us :-}
Perhaps because you're real cats. This old dog has turned out to be a fake cat. But the avatar looks so good.
Better to be a fake cat than a lost one.
I once lost a cat and found him months later living the life of Riley in the backyard with a dozen other cats well fed and watered by an elderly lady. Dogs, on the other hand, always look desperate. I cannot resist catching them and taking them home. All of them have been placed either in their original homes or in new ones. I never take them to the pound. I've kept a few animal/furry people.
Hmmmm, if I ever get lost I hope it will be in your neighborhood, at least I won't have to worry about being taken to the pound ;-)
I've also kept animal/furry people.
I too have kept animal/furry people rather than take them to the RSPCA - I've never got to choose an animal yet - they arrive ....
no - i think your personality is more independent and cat like than dog like jln - i think your avatar is right!
Oh good. Thanks Vivien; I was having an identity crisis, something very inappropriate at my age.
