Help Identify old crackled painting 55in x 35in board on back possibly reframed

It has an old and chipped frame, but does appear to have been reframed at some point. Some sort of board on the back. The front of the painting has a rough crackled feel to it. I cant see a signature without taking it out of the frame. Probably a reproduction but I would like to know the artist and the name of the painting. Looks maybe old Persian with a Bedouin tent. The pennant flag has a faint yellow dragon like animal on it. I love this! I would like to find the artist and maybe purchase more like this to decorate a room in my house. Thanks for any help in identifying.

What's written on the back, please take it out of the frame. It looks like it may be a one of a series of paintings illustrating a story.

@bobsal u1553115,
I'm afraid to remove it from the frame as its old. Where a normal modern day frame would have those staple things holding the back board in.....there are some of those and several screws that are screwed in sideways at an angle holding that back board thing in. I was able to feel a piece of material or something that hangs over the length of the board in one place so I know its not attached to the board or painted on the board. I've honestly never seen anything like this. I was hoping someone would notice the background or something and recognize the artist. From my own research I was looking for women that had that white horn looking thing on the front of her head. I may have to remove it, but hate to. I looked really close and studied the bottom where a signature might be, but if its there it is so faint you couldn't read it anyway, very smudgy looking. Looks like a Persian rug, but the women have light skin in the painting so maybe not Persian. The pennant flag has a yellow or gold looking dragon on it. I see palm trees. Thanks so much for trying to help identify it. It would be so cool if there are more in this and I can figure out the story it tells. I'm fascinated by it.

@lisabsmith,
The back has the sticker where it was reframed showing 1/8th inch thick board and size of 48 x 96 ??? I'm assuming centimeters and a serial number that I googled but nothing comes up. The price tag at one time shows $599.00. I'm assuming a reproduction but I don't care. I just really want to know the artist and name. It just speaks to me.

@lisabsmith,
I'm assuming its meant to look Persian and that it was one of a series used to decorate a restaurant. Its nice but not something you would expect to see in a fine arts museum.

@bobsal u1553115,
Thank you.
Was still hoping to find the artist so maybe I could research to see if there are others in a series, like you said, maybe telling a story. I tried to see if I could take the frame off, but the painting is stuck in the corner of the frame and if I pull it out, it may damage the piece. Still thinking on what to do next. Maybe just clean it up a bit and be thankful to have it.
