@panzade,
Bad Day at Black Rock for me in the PickUm Game, and worse, if possible with my fantasy players. All so horrible that it's fun.

Meantime, I'm happy for Mariota..

Barring any mistakes I catch when double checking tonight, 6 of us are tied with 8 wins headed into tonight's game. Edgar can win outright if Chicago wins tonight. Myself, Ragman, Cowdoc, Panzade and Jaumen all have San Diego. I have 30 points for tonight's game, Jaumen 45, Ragman 46, Cowdoc 47 and Panzade 49. (I sure do wish I had changed to Carolina yesterday while discussing that game with Lightening and Jaumen at lunch after church.)

@CoastalRat,
All of us are just now crawling slowly up the Carolina bandwagon steps.
Took a while.

@panzade,
I was leaning strongly to changing my pick to Carolina. I resisted. I liked my Eagles pick..so I refused to even think about changing my pick to Dallas. I am never happy when I pick the Boys..much less a Romo-less Boys. I didn't care that it was played in their billion-dollar-playpen.

On a slightly different matter, I dislike intensely hyper-violent asshole Greg Hardy and that obtuse Jerry Jones picked him up. He's (Hardy) the devil incarnate and so are the 'Boys!

Go Chargers!...if they win, we'll all be in another major tiebreaker.

@Ragman,
I've picked Carolina before, but was hoping Green Bay would win and pushed it. I just knew an hour or two before hand that Carolina would do it, but, yep, resisted.

@ossobuco,
I'm a big fan of Superman. Every time I see Cam ...especially in the 4th quarter...it strengthens my belief in his big play ability.

FWIW, as time and this season march on, I predict big things for Carolina.

Sometimes when a QB is an elite level QB (like this one), it gets a bit shaky especially when playoffs come around. - like there's too much of reliance on the one-man show.

Moreover, I'd never seriously look at a rushing QB...unless they're a physical specimen such as he is. You need a howitzer to stop him at the Red Zone or at the goal line.

He's the exception to that phenomenon and perhaps this time around they can tighten down their defense towards a playoff level quality.

Just a heads up. I will be traveling most of the day tomorrow, so will not get a chance to post updated stats until Wednesday morning. But I will get the games for next weekend posted later this evening.

@Ragman,
The way they run Cam is just plain foolish.
I predict an injury and Carolina will be left with a good defense and a mediocre offense

@panzade,
It's not the wisest thing as far as a strategy goes, IMHO. Did you know that he's the number 1 or 2 rusher in the league..and not just in QB position? I need to verify this one because a football-knowledgeable friend mentioned it.

CR: thanks for the heads up, and safe travels.

@Ragman,
nothin there about rushing...but I'm sure he's rushed for more yards than any other QB.
And that's what worries me.
