What statistical tests to use?

Having a bit of trouble with statistical tests. What test do i use in these cases:
1) Is the standard deviation on "overall life satisfaction (1-10)" the same for the genders?
2) are the number of men and women with an "overall life satisfaction" of 6 and below the same for the 2 genders?
3) Are the different "political orientations" equally "satisfied with life"? (oneway ANOVA here?)
4) Is there a correlation between gender and "level of education"?
5) Does the "overall life satisfaction" depend on gender, political orientation or an interaction between these? (two way ANOVA here??)

Hope someone can help me understand, as Ive managed to confuse myself thoroughly!
