@cicerone imposter,
Just keeping this classic thread alive with a real contribution to the anals of movie history.

I wanna nominate HAIL CAESER with George Clooney and a fogettable cast of people who took an otherwise neat idea of a movie and turned it into 2 hours of hell.
It was a COEN BROTHERS movie, What the hell were they thinking?
There arent enough rotten tomatoes for this one

Avengers Age of Ultron: annoying, self-indulgent, no focus, misplaced humour.
The Godfather Part II: too bleak, and flashbacks that serve no useful purpose.

Ghostbusters (1984): not a bad movie, but not exactly an entertaining one either.
Any Star Trek movie (more or less).

The new Mad Max was pretty awful. Got aboutt 20 minutpes in and it was making nosense
, jus:-) t boring violence alnd I ju:st did not care nd turned it off.

Reading through this, I honestly don't believe that many of you understand what boring actually means. What do you have going on in your life when a Mad Max movie is seen as boring? I mean seriously. You may not like it, but it is hardly boring. The entire action genre, not a single movie should be listed as boring. Not liking or enjoying a movie does not make it boring.

That being said, Empire by Warhol was a boring movie. The English Patient (as others have rightly mentioned) was a boring movie. Lets try to be honest in our opinions folks.

You clearly haven't seen the new Max, McG. Don't bother. Max 1,2,3 were not boring. Mad Max 4 is.

But Valkyrie, the 2008 Tom Cruise movie? You should not post that as a boring movie. It was certainly not Cruise at his best, but no Cruise movie is to be considered "boring". Not even Far and Away.

That one certainly had the potential to have a good story but they instead made it a sub par action movie.
