These aren't really mistakes, and maybe you all already know about these:

In Fight Club, there are tons of scenes "inserted" in the film.
Subliminal messages type stuff.

If you watch the film closely on a good VCR or DVD player, you'll notice many parts where colors appear to flash across the screen quickly. Rewind and play it in slow motion, freeze framing at particular places, there is at least 8 or so places with "extra" images. For example, early in the movie there is a group therapy session. Brad Pitt "appears" for a split second sitting on the back of one of the chairs. None of the characters acknowledge his existence. It is sort of a "prelude to insanity" scene, but....you, as viewer in a theater, wouldn't even know you saw this.

A bit ironic, because in one part of the movie one of the characters works in a theater, and he does things like splicing subliminal messages into films, as sort of a prank.

In disney's alladin , when the Raja the tiger and the guy... ugh.. what ever his name is... are on the balcony of Jasmine's room he is trying to talk Raja away from him by saying " good tiger".. then he mumbles Take off your clothes.
Hehehe... can you guess that I have a ton of Disney movies?
All of these things I have seen/heard on my own videos.
As for the Lion King claim... no, it doesnt spell sex it is just a swirl. THAT would have been a good laugh!

They noticed this mistake afterwards when it was already released and so too late to correct. The film makers thought it was funny and staged it again the next film! Laughing

Oh jeezzee.... hahaha so how many storm troopers have been knocked out? hahah that is funny.
I was just reading that 'snopes' site and it was going over the little mermaid cover saying that it WASNT a penis...
uh.. last I checked that is what a penis looked like? Am I not correct? Who cares if it wasnt put there by a disgruntled employee as rumors claim...
a dick is a dick is a dick.
you cant tell me that drawing that particular piece of the artwork NEVER crossed the artists mind that it looked like a penis. There is just no way.

Snopes doesn't say it wasn't a penis. They say it was inadvertantly drawn to resemble a penus. The subsequent cover was changed. The urban legend that it was a disgruntled Disney employee was false as it was jobbed out. Seems believable that it was likely a Freudian slip. (You don't suppose that there are that many male commercial artists who are gay?)

Actually, they aren't really subliminal messages or pranks. Tyler Durden (brad Pitt) splices single frames of porn into childrens movies simply to enjoy the uneasiness that follows, despite the fact that no one knows that they really did see porn, or, in times of need, to threaten his boss to expose the fact that hundreds of impressionable children have been exposed to porn in his theater.

Subsequently, throughout the film, Brad Pitt is spliced into Edward Nortons thoughts as Extra Medium says, to give the idea of insanity slowly dripping into his reality.

And during the last scene, when Edward Norton and Marla are watching the credit card company buildings explode, there is a penis spliced in.

@agrote,
In the original film, their was a suicide that went unnoticed during filming. In one version a munchkin appears to be hanging himself and the one that plays in tv shows none of it
