Greetings Everyone, just thought I'd post a few of my "creations" over here. Actually, they're borrowed from the humble yet intricately designed snow crystal, and then just digitally edited in photoshop using plugin filters and what not. Any comments or reactions are welcomed Very Happy

Thanks! I'm kind of a snowflake freak. Quite scandalous really, but then again, I was always fascinated with these tiny beauties since I was a kid.

How did you do that, ez? They are coldly exciting. I don't quite understand photoshop stuff.

"Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow?" (Job 38:22).

Here's a real enlightening KOOL VIDEO about one of the original pioneers of photomicrography: Wilson A Bentley, the Snowflake Man. His plates have inspired countless of artists.

Its really not that big of a deal to "touch up" these prints. Imaging editors like PSP and photoshop have what you call a "magic wand" selection tool, that let you make active certain areas of an intricate photo. You then select the plugin, like either Blade Pro or Eye Candy, that was used extensively for this, and VIOLA...instant transformation!
