Solid-state switch revisited

It might be a disk-shaped device that could be placed in lamp sockets for instance to let two or three lights at different locations to be controlled independently from a single switch

In its simplest form it's a sort of "toggle," alternately on then off. Like, if they're in adjacent rooms where we want only one or t'other to be on but we're unwilling to install a second switch

A more sophisticated model might, say be programmed to switch on every third toggling

I could Google it much more easily if only I knew what to call it

Thanks guys
