@sophocles,
I agree; I don't have the right sort of brain for mensa-type questions, and am getting increasingly frustrated at the sheer complication of many of the others - more GBQ than GFQ now, I think. Thanks for clues, will have another go tomorrow but am rapidly losing heart.

I now have a guess for 22 and 46, but am fairly sure they are not correct. For the life of me I can't work out the suggested anagram for 10, and I'm not going to attempt 25 or 50. So a low score anticipated this month. Think we should change the meaning of F in GFQ from Fun to Frustrating!

@gardengnome,
10. Well known Actor born there - do you use 'Anagram Solver'? His Son....look at respective filmographies. 46 - radio show, original title same as film. I admit, this is a tough quiz this month!

@Ramires7,
I am SUCH a silly person! You know how occasionally r and n together can look like m in some fonts? I thought the anagram was 'bomborath'...... no wonder anagram solver/Chambers word wizard couldn't find it! Thanks for clarification.

Thanks for the clue to 50, which I've now found. There used to be a team in the old Quizmail (of happy memory) called 'Read the b****y question' and I do forget to do that sometimes. My apologies to all for not being able to help with clues this month but will try to make up for it in future.

Question 25: Just spend an hour 'juggling' with vowels, consonants, straight lines etc. etc. but still no breakthrough! Time for a break - but does anyone have clue about this one?

@Ramires7,
Completely baffled here too, also Q38 doesn't throw anything up other than that spoken about already.

@Opsimath,
38 - agree. Now question clarified, nothing beyond 1992/3 film. Have interrogated IMDb website as best I could.

Still no wiser with #25. If anyone is prepared to hint at the eleventh hour I can help with all the others.

@gumpy01,
It seems number 25 was beyond virtually everybody! Now for quiz 114, onwards & upwards!
