I love to scuba dive.
I did my 50th dive last August in Palm Beach.
It was a night dive.
When I touched sand at 50 feet and turned on my flashlight there was a 6 ft Barracuda a foot from my mask.
Good God Almighty!

The Dodge Victory Six. Because one was the family car when I was a kid, I have wanted one of my own all of my life.
I used to wait by the driveway when I knew my step father would be coming home, just to watch the optical reverse spin of the slowing wood spoke wheels. We would go to drive in movies in it and some of us would stand on the running board on the passenger side. Some would sit on the fenders. It hurt my feelings when it was traded.
When they're good, and they usually are, there is not a lot that can beat them.
Fed up with mindless crappola on the TV? Then search around for a BBC Docu.
I find most of them utterly fascinating. From music through to Tudors, from Wildlife through to Empire. They are usually warts and all if they are done well, and packed full of stuff that you probably learned at school but have since totally forgotten.
Here is a classic example....The Making of Modern Britain.
Episode 1. The Death of Victoria, British Concentration Camps and the plight of the poor.
There are not enough of them to see...all I can find in the web is spam of them and nothing new !
One BBC doc a day please ! (take it to parliament if needed be)
My existential conundrum right now is that I have to much free time and not enough BBC docs.
