can we increase gap between the stator and rotor without decreasing motors efficiency by putting good electricity conducting gas between both(stator and field winding)

@rohitshinde,
The gap between stator and rotor should be minimum to reduce magnetic losses. Filling up with conducting gas will not solve the issue as the stator and rotor will be shorted with that conducting gas.
