Lunar Eclipse Unidentified Event

Good evening and thanks in advance to anyone who reads and/or can reply to my question here. So here goes: About a year ago (I think?) I was taking pics of a Lunar Eclipse and when I got the pics back I was surprised and intrigued by some sort of 'expulsion' from the Moon. I'be tried to attach my pics here but that doesn't seem to be an option. Nevertheless, pls imagine something that looks just like a Solar flare jutting out from the Moon.

And and all thoughts will be/are greatly appreciated!!

Also, I see that a few folks have read my post/request yet none have answers. I really wish I could post my pics of what I'm asking about here. Can anyone help? Is there, perhaps, a forum better-suited to novice questions like mine? Is there a method of posting pics for review here that I'm just not finding?

Thanks again!
roger

I dabble in astrophotography. I'd be glad to see the photo.

@eapdaltex,
Ah. That's a common problem. What camera/lens setup were you using?

OH boy... Yeah... It surely seems that I've 'uncovered' a fairly common lens effect. Well, it's really great to have an answer and also to
Know that I'm not somehow the first human to have discovered that the Moon is projecting some sort of jets from its surface!!

Thanks SO much to you guys for havin taken the time to set me straight!!

All the very best,

Eric

Not saying it couldn't be a moon fart, mind you.
