Ok, this is a stupid question, but still, I wanna ask it.
Does anyone remember that milk that used to come in 1 litre bags? You had a special container for it, and all you had to do was cut one of the corners of the bag and pour. We used to get them about 8 or so years ago, I seen them once after that, and now nothing. Do they still make them anywhere, or have you seen them ever? I really liked them, and I wish they'd come back!
They still use em in Brazil for one.
We still have them here in New Brunswick. In fact, we have a milk man who delivers it as well. I like them too and I hope they don't get rid of them. I remember when I was living in Mass and relatives came from NB to visit, I would always smile and ask them if they still had milk in a bag :-D
bagged milk?
does this have anything to do with breast-feeding.
Nope, it's normal drinking milk, just like you would get in the jug, or carton, or whatever it comes in where you're from.
yep, used to come in jugs alright
So what does it come in now?
Lots of restaurants still get it in bags. The bag is inside a box, and has a spout attached.
Here, the milk comes from cows.
Okay, you can get it in supermarkets in 1 l plastic bags as well, seldom now.
It's still found in the grocery stores in Toronto and Kingston. (can't speak for anywhere else)
Yup, we have them in Slovakia. You have to boil the milk before drinking it, perhaps not anymore, dunno. It tastes much, er, milkier than the box milk.
Montana- Pics from your house? Makes me miss them even more....awww...lol
Yup. I tried to find some picks on Google, but that was taking too long, so I just grabbed my camera and click click.... :-D
I saw bagged milk in Toronto. Gave me a bit of a start. That and the fact that they called it "homo milk".
...not that there's anything wrong with that...
