MAD MAX: FURY ROAD or Apathetic Avenue?

Well, I love Tarantine and was a devotee of Deadwood, and a number of other shows or movies some folks shy away from. I actually saw all the old MadMax movie and I get that a lot of people are tired of Mel Gibson, but those old post apocalypse movies where much more enjoyable to me, albeit a tad over the top.

Maybe I've just seen too many movies over too many years, and I wasn't expecting Hamlet, but I sure as hell was not expecting to laugh because it was so outrageously bad. C'mon, living blood bags and breeders, they could have at least added a few comedy bits. But, just because I thought it was awful, doesn't mean everybody else can't enjoy it.

Is that because you were a fan of the gritty reimagined western or just a hanger on from Lovejoy?

I watched all of Deadwood intently, but learned **** all about ceramics.

whoops, I meant Tarantino. I don't think I remember Lovejoy, I first thought you meant Lovecraft...(I wasn't a fan of his type of science fiction) But I don't remember Lovejoy. Was Lovejoy a mystery of one of those romantic potboilers. Opening theme sounds a bit, like Little House on The Prairie.

I saw it once in theaters than pre-ordered it on blu-ray.

Furiosa is coming this weekend to blow our summer up!

I watched Max: Fury Road twice in the cinema and it still feels like one of the greatest action films ever made, whether from Australia or anywhere else. What really stands out to me is how much of it was done for real cars, real stunts, real desert, almost no CGI to fill in the gaps. George Miller was in his seventies when he directed it which shows how much drive and determination he had. Tom Hardy’s Max is more reserved, than Mel Gibson’s version. Charlize Theron’s Furiosa completely takes over the movie every single time she’s on screen. It’s worth watching a time just to notice all the little details you miss the first two times around.
