With regard to Question 38 I hate these ambiguous questions. Two completely different sports repute to have the oldest sporting trophy. I have had to change my answer because I believe one trophy is just 4 years older than the other and quite near to each other geographically. Anyone agree!
38. is now just confusing me, I can usually answer most things without recourse to the query line and if I hadn't been directed to do so I wouldn't have done so again this month. The "international" thing has now got me puzzled. Theoretically international or provably international is the dilemma I have. Think this is going to be an essay answer on the back of the answer sheet!

I think I am on the right track for 16 now.
Try the county of Borset.

Regarding Question 38, I am pretty sure I have the correct answer now. The "International" clue means that there are "International" challengers for the trophy every year. Anyone agree!
I do agree to the extent that it implies the possibility of international challengers which certain very old events do not, given that they appear to be limited to a select group. The very oldest I can find implies that any nationality can enter but I can't find positive proof that this is the case.
As to the trophy you're happy with... blunt or pointy?
