Do the Muslims even exist who are on matrimonial sites?

Mostly phonies I guess, just like all other such sites. The advertisements I see are nothing but gorgeous women. They are not women who have to advertise themselves.

Sorry you've had a hard time Aamir, yes there are "some" genuine people on all matrimonial or dating sites but a lot don't know what they are looking for or are false as Roger stated... You have to be tough and weed them out, there has to be one great gal out there for you .

People on these websites are just like people everywhere.

As far as practical advice, spend several weeks (or as long as it takes) talking to them on-line until you feel like you know them reasonably well (it can be done). If they pressure you to meet F2F before you are comfortable, say goodbye.
