Yes I have the whole Nero software (the only thing I don't have is the DVD video plug-in for some of the other programs).
Open up Nero Burning ROM (not Express), and see if you have a "finalize" option. Might be under the "burn" tab.
Another option, if this doesn't work, might be to create your data disk in Nero Burning ROM, not Express, and specify "no multisession," and have it "finalize "when it burns the first time.
I finalized the DVD and when I went to watch it under Media Player it freezes, what could be the cause of this?
Ack just more complications when I finally thought I had a watchable DVD in this manner.
Are you seeing the new .avi files located on the DVD using Windows Explorer?
If so, have you tried just double-clicking the .avi file, not opening with media player?
It gives me a message saying that the disk might be corrupt (I hope it's not this one), and either that or windows cannot read it because it's not in a proper format (say what!? I thought XP was capable of reading the disks).
What kind of blank media (disks) are you using?
