I read that some Americans were convicted of crimes here but escaped justice by fleeing to Cuba.

Are there other Americans who fled the U.S. for Israel under analogous circumstances?

@gollum,
No, there isn't. Why are you asking?

Until recently, maybe currently still with Cuba, there's no extradition. With Israel, there is extradition rights.

@ehBeth,
Me too, and recently. Some old guy that's homesick for the US, in spite of facing criminal charges

@ehBeth,
Perhaps you can take a stroll down Google lane and check it out?
I did and find extradition rights are intact with Israel. Has your research shown otherwise?

Israel International Extradition Treaty with the United States December 10, 1962, Date-Signed December 5, 1963, Date-In-Force

Am I misinterpreting this? http://www.mcnabbassociates.com/Israel%20International%20Extradition%20Treaty%20with%20the%20United%20States.pdf

@gollum,
Perhaps you can provide a link to back that up. Or are you just blowing smoke?
