Do you know why the British drink warm beer?

It's because they use Lucas refrigerators.

I wouldn't say junk, but that's how the British lost the lead in computer design and manufactoring; took 'em forever to figure out how to make a computer with a leaky oil pan.

I forgot Lotus,
They put a fiberglass shell on an untreated steel chassis. Therefore even when they look half decent the rust is all through them, and you can't weld them because of the 'glass
Then they drop in an old rough four cylinder engine in it and call it a "supercar"

Jarlaxle I stand by the Sterling being fast,I frequently saw over 130mph in mine.A friend has A Caprice 9C1(police spec)and the sterling was the faster of the two.
Don't get me wrong I would love to have that Caprice, and the Sterling was sold years ago and not missed

Either the 9C1 was running on 7 cylinders, or it was a 305. A dead-stock 1994-96 9C1 will break 140, & even the 1991-93's will top 130. A 1994-96 with the (underrated) 260HP LT1 will run away from a Stirling.
