Nope. Nothing in the corners. Nothing under the chairs, beds, tables -

@edgarblythe,
I'm with you on this one, Edgar.

I've checked everywhere I can myself...and no gods.

I guess we just gotta be satisfied that we do not know if there are gods or not.

No cigar, frank. Guess you will need to roll your own.

@edgarblythe,
Just got two boxes from Thompson Cigar Co.

No need to roll any.

The ones infused with Rum are not bad at all...although normally I do not like infused cigars. Trying them on a recommendation.

No god I can see in either box.

Question of whether or not there are any gods is still open.

For smoking them under false pretenses.

@edgarblythe,
Is today one of your "I'm going to make as little sense as possible" days, Edgar?

Or are you bothered by the fact that we do not know if gods exist or not?

Hell...we don't even know if sentient beings significantly more advanced than us exist.

No big deal. Life goes on.

Not at all, Timur.

But I see you are still pushing that insulting stuff you serve up as often as you can...starting stuff you never can finish.

Hope all is well with you.

@Frank Apisa,
You mean the one you never finished last time?

All is well with me, just another day in paradise without any crappy gods to bother me..

You get battered every time, Timur. It only makes you more cranky and grumpy. Sometimes I simply back off out of sympathy.

But usually I stick around long enough to bloody you.

Poor chump like you who has a problem with acknowledging that we do not know if there are gods or not needs lots of sympathy. Sorta like a child who hurts himself in a sandbox.

Let's see what happens here.

Here are some reasons why the personal god does not exist:

A non involved god is harder to argue against, but we only have believers' words to say such exists, which is unevidenced speculation. We have a universe that has its own operating properties and functions without magic.

@edgarblythe,
Yup, I agree.

We do not know if any gods exist.

That is the essence of what I have been saying on the issue for years now.

Even a personal god may exist. We really cannot explain the motives of a god...we have no idea of why a god might allow stuff to happen that we think is an abomination.

We exist...and think of what germs and bugs might think about us. I'm sure that if they think...they cannot imagine why we would allow stuff to happen to them such as happens.

Yeah...that "unevidenced speculation" gets to me too, Edgar...both the "unevidenced speculation" that a GOD exists...and the equally "unevidenced speculation" that there are no gods.

Nothing we can do about that, though. People given to "unevidenced speculation" are a hard lot to deal with.
