It all depends on HOW they are used in a sentence.

It is almost impossible to tell you about a "word" unless you show its context.

Example: The the word "run":

I want to run to the store.
He came in first in the 5K run.
I have a run in my nylons.
Let's take a run at that game.
I wanted to run away when I was a teen.
Do you want to run or walk to the store?
