These days, it's a style choice...not so critical but of coursed that depends o0n who the audience will be for this. If it's an academic or English grammar class choice, I'd advice use of comma.

My choice is to place a comma based on my years-ago English composition teachers and profs.

Current practice, Spel, discourages the comma except where essential to meaning
