@Smileyrius,
No, I would not say that America is the political body through which God does His work on Earth. America has it's dirt just as others countries do. Although, I am still proud to be an American.

You do have a point, it wouldn't surprise me if one or two did fake their faith for office, but it would not have been many . Most would have been Christians during their childhood.

@FBM,
As a small child I believed without hearing and seeing. Then, I became agnostic and began hearing, seeing, wrestling with the unseen and witnessing powers of the invisible spirit world. Evil spirits had come into my life as a consequence of my sin. And Father God and His Son Jesus both revealed themselves to me while reaching out for the salvation of my soul. Someday, I may post my testimony. Today, I believe because I have heard and seen.

John 20:29. Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

@FBM,
Although an American, I'm really not that interested in our government.

@FBM,
Your profile says that your location is Korea. I was unaware that you were an American.

@Patches,
Seems that you went to my profile to look for...evidence. Evidence. Important thing, that. Evidence. Wink

@izzythepush,
Is FBM an American living in Korea? He appears to be keeping things a mystery. Do you suppose he has something to hide? Laughing

How about not setting up an ad hom or a red herring and stick to your failure to provide evidence for your god? Y'know, intellectual honesty?

@FBM,
If is you who have failed to see the reality of it...not I. The truth remains the same...it is a photograph of the Holy Spirit! Some would consider a photograph of a person as proof of their existence.

How can you prove your claim, seeing as how photographs are so easily faked? Emphatically repeating the same assertion over and over again is not equivalent to evidence.

@FBM,
Do you honestly believe that all those people posting photos of "angel orbs" and "spirit orbs" are faking them for money? Perhaps, you should use some of that "logic" you keep talking about. Those photographs are of the Holy Spirit.

@Patches,
It's not just your failure to provide any evidence that it's anything other than a piece of photoshopped malarkey, it's the point.

Let's say it is God. Why would God appear as a frisbee in someone's back garden when there's so much crap going on in the world? It's hardly the Angel Of The Mons. What benefit does it have? If God was caught on camera that suggests God is not as powerful as he appears, so it must be deliberate, if it's God. So, why would God do something so bloody ineffectual?

How is the World even fractionally better as a result of this?

@izzythepush,
Although, I may have failed to provide scientific verification of the validity of those photographs for the persons who lack common sense and need to see it. I have not failed in providing evidence of God's presence on earth through His Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is bearing witness.

@Patches,
If you have proven it, then you have destroyed faith. Without faith, you're bound for eternal damnation and torture.

Let me guess: Logic and common sense are a tool of the devil and people who use them are his minions. Rolling Eyes

That is a comfortable fallacy.

A bit condescending, as well.
