If being alive is a reason, then yes things happen for a reason. Conversely, some things don't happen because you are alive.

Paw you have to define what you mean by "a reason." If you're asking if everything is caused then yes it would seem that way

Sure, instances and situations that have occured lead up to the instances and situations that are occuring and will occur. The variables are pretty near infinite.
