You roll fair dice, one red and one green.
a)what is the probability of getting a number less then 5 on both?
b) what is the probability of getting a sum of 9 on the two dice.
c) what is the probability of getting a five on both?
d) what is the probability of getting a product 9 on the two dice?
e) what is the probability of getting a sum greater than 9 on the dice?
f) what is the probability of getting a sum less than 5 ib the two dice?

Set up a 6 by 6 table for the sample space.
(Green 1 to 6 horizontal, Red 1 to 6 vertical)
Each answer can be found by counting the number of squares for that event and writing it as a fraction out of 36.
e.g. (a) there are 6 squares which represent a total less 5, so p=6/36 =1/6
