im having trouble with this but the questions are
Suppose that you roll a single die.
a)whats the probability that the number on the face is a 3 or a 6?
b) what is the probability that the number on the face is not a 2?
c) what is the probability that the number on the face is a 2 or a 4 or a 6?
@cassandra4120,
The probability of outcomes like these is the number of ways the outcome can occur divided by the total number of possible outcomes. There are a total of 6 possible outcomes. How may ways can you roll a 3 or a 6; something other than a 2; or a 2 a 4 or a 6?
