Hi. I have an old picture of the virgin Mary.
I can't really make out who the artist is.
Looks like a screen print. #07.
Would be really helpful if someone knew anything about this painting.
Or if someone could tell me the name of the artist.
Thanks.

@damsizerooster1,
From the description so far, I have carried out extensive research and have narrowed it down to roughly 320, 425 possibilities.

If you could just confirm that it is a seated Virgin Mary, I could knock another 100,000 or so off the possibility score.

close, but the http .... jpeg needs to be wrapped by [img][/img]

I'm guessing that's St. Teresa; looks like an old holy card of my youth..

@ossobuco,
You mean one of these, Osso?

The artists first name looks something like gianncola.

Funny, but googling relevant names etc., for some reason I keep coming up with this, which is how I imagine Chai to be once she's finished the hoovering....

Thanks guys.
There's only so much I can do on my phone. Ha ha.
I think you are spot on with who it is.
The picture belongs to my father. He has had it for years
and could never figure out the name.
I think it's screen printed and painted.
I'm sure it's no#7.
Would love to solve this riddle.
Can anyone read what it says before #07?

@damsizerooster1,
When you are replying, note the little green letters Open BBC Code at the top of the reply box, and click on it.
Then you will see a row of typing tools, one of which is IMG.

swipe the http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah74/Damien_Mostert/20150219_181249-1_zpsjxsedskx.jpg and click on IMG

alternately, go to your preferences (see that on the dark blue band at the bottom of the page), and click YES to enable BBC code

or, simply type after it.
