This is the Giant's Causeway, a naturally occurring rock formation located on the northern coast of Ireland.

That's one of the more obvious cases which has turned up. Most of Mars has the look of a world which was simply picked up and shaken the way a dog shakes a rat, stuff lying around cattywampus all over the place.
