Actually, there is a possibility that some forms of life can be on the surface of the red planet. As a frozen lake was found on the surface of Mars, some forms of life can remain there in the frozen water. I have already mentioned in another thread the Rosalind Franklin’ mission. This space mission will attempt to search for life on Mars. The launch is scheduled for 2022. Interesting fact, that this is the first Mars mission by British aerospace companies. Looking forward to this mission and I hope it will open some new things for us.

An experiment as far back as 1976 returned positive results for life on Mars.

The results were discarded by NASA on the basis that it did not match the results from the other two experiments. What NASA failed to take cognizance of was that the experiment that was positive was about 100 times more sensitive than the other experiments.

I am one of the people who believe that those original results were actually valid and not some mistake in the experimental design!!

I believe there is microbial life in the Martian soil.

Nice point, but still, it`s not based on scientific evidence. However, it`s still can be considered as proof as the possibility of the existence of life on the red planet.
