How to estimate local small business revenues

Hello,

My friend and I are thinking about starting a small advertising company with local small businesses. We would be redesigning their ads and creating and monitoring their social media pages.

We are trying to determine what to charge for pricing and part of that would be to find out what the revenue is for our local businesses. Any suggestions as to how we would go about this?

Thanks!

@kpadual,
Do your proper research what the local competition in your market area is charging them. When starting out...price yourself less than the competition and deliver on time.
