@izzythepush,
The more I see of Mads Mikkelson, the more I'm fascinated by him. I'll try and find a copy of this film in the library now. Thanks Izzy. Very Happy

@tsarstepan,
Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas is really good.
(I'd liked,if the film had been done 50 years earlier: had saved me some red-faced discussions with my German teacher at school Wink )

@carloslebaron,
I have to agree with you. It has a compassionate charm to it that's distinctly French.

I liked "My Life as a Dog,"
by director Lasse Hallstrom. Of course he's famous for many
English language movies, such as "Cider House Rules," and "Shipping News."

@FBM,
I am sad to say I have never seen a Korean film.
Distributors are market tyrants.

@fbaezer,
I'm not going to lie and say that the market is flooded with good Korean films. Not very many do well outside Korea. But there are some notable exceptions. For example, Silmido is based on a true story about a secret team of ex-cons recruited from death row to assassinate the North Korean leader. I think it did well internationally. And Joint Security Area was well received. I'm 100% sure you could find torrents for them. Wink
