Joe lost his laptop computer and offered $300 reward for its return.Musa found the laptop computer and returned it to Joe at a time when he did not know of the reward that had been offered.Musa claimed the reward from Joe but he refused to pay. Discuss
Simple, where is the contract? where is the full disclosure?
No where?
Pity!
@Quehoniaomath,
I'm just wondering where you received your education. You're full of ignorant knowledge.
Verbal contracts are legally binding.
A verbal contract isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
Samuel Goldwin
@Frank Apisa,
The conditions of the verbal contract must be met for it to be legally enforceable. Also, the judge's decision.

That is what I thought too. It is not true! There is ONLY contract (law)
btw there is NO business law at all!
@Quehoniaomath,
You're ignorance continues to show.

Really? I can say the same about you, but I won't.
There is no
business law and there is a reason for this.
@francy,
If Musa was unaware of the reward offer, there couldn't be a contract.
By the way, verbal and oral are not the same.
@roger,
Exactly, nobody likes getting verbal off the missus.
Why has the USA flag so many times a gold fringe when seen on tv or movies?
That is a clue to what is really going on.!
I agree.. there was no contract whatsoever. However you may contact a lawyer......
@roger,
Thank you Roger, but I needed you to feed me the line, so thanks for that too.
Was this reward announcement a verbal one? or was it docketed? If they both have not agreed on this then Musa cannot claim the money.
