Just read on Twitter: "If Guillermo Del Toro makes a film this year about a lesbian, paralitic, patriotic slave, we clinch the trifecta!"

@jespah,
just watched the Lady Gaga performance

wow

I've always loved her voice but wow

extraordinary voice and her enunciation was impeccable

I'm not a fan of muscular voices like Celine Dion so this made me very happy.

Maybe 2 points for Patricia Arquette's supporting actress win? C'est tout... I suppose.

Just read this list from the Guardian, some of it interesting as the article moves along - (Palin's in there, that made me blink).

Hadley Freeman's piece was both sort of fluffy and sort of a pleasure -

Readers like or don't like Hadley - I generally like reading her.

@ossobuco,
I just read that Guardian link (very good) but couldn't find my Palin anywhere. I then went back and had another look.

It's funny how mind registers work.

Palin USA = Sarah
Palin UK = Michael
