I would have lost on all the other years, but this time I could see all nominated films.
Plus I noticed Boyhood was losing momentum with other awards.

Birdman was my favorite from the best picture nominees so I'm really glad it it was celebrated this year. Iñárritu's direction was spectacular.
I'm also very happy that Big Hero 6 got the award. I hope it gets a boost in the video sales. It should have done better at the box office.

Watched the whole shooting match for class (we were live tweeting). My professor actually said, when Lady Gaga spread her arms wide while singing and you could see her body art, "Nice tats, Liesl."
