If they ran a big special on the "Late Great Ronald Reagan" tonight at the same time as the Sopranos season finale, which would it be for you?
Hmm, now where is that "off" button?
Don't worry Bo, you'll still be struggling to finish that crossword from the Toronto paper.
Reagan always struck me as a man who was "all american" nothing wrong with that, but I don't hold him in such esteem that I would want to watch a prog of his life.
I dont particularly want to watch a prog about the life of Churchill and he was one of our lot.
Sopranos gets my vote.

no joe; i always try to avoid 'cross' words!
and secondly - The Soprannos - rehashed Italian stereotyping, gone pop?
what's to like?
[now i've done it]
The Soprannos get my vote. It will be something I had not seen before.
Rehashed? You mean it's not as real as professional wrestling?
J
I truly liked Ronny, but I've already seen a program on his life story, so the Sopranos for sure.
I feel Reagan intruded more than enough on my life, and that of the world's - Sopranos every time.
It scared the life out of me, watching that vacant face running the world...

I would watch neither, not because I don't like The Sopranos or Reagan (well, I didn't particularly take to him, but anyway,) but because I just don't watch TV much at all; I've watched about eight hours at the most in the last five months...
I upped my tv time this year to two hours when I watched the Belmont Race yesterday..

you are missing the 'culture' of your time!
[not to mention all that cool information on what you should be buying!]
Actually, you're right. I am aware of that. One stands silent as others use Seinfeld episodes in conversation. I struggle in crossword puzzles sometimes when a tv character is part of a clue. I'm a crazed reader instead of tv watcher - I never intended to stop watching tv, it just happened: I kept always choosing a book instead.. or music... or my own thoughts.
But, on the topic question, were I faced with a tv and the choice, I'd pick the sopranos as I've read that the writing is good, though I probably agree with whoever said it's one more rehash of stereotypes re italians.
