When I wish to View an old e-mail in my Gmail Inbox, I click the right-facing arrow near the top-right corner of the screen, repeatedly.
This sends me back 100 e-mails at a click. Is there anyway to get to an old e-mail more quickly?

Use the search feature and input a few words contained in the address, subject line or body of the email. Sometimes it will list a few and then say there are others in trash and tell you to click to view them.
When you see what you are looking for, open it by clicking on it.
