How can I find out if 'RP Phillimore art work is marketable?

I have some art work from 'RP Phillimore" in its original frames and was wondering how I can find out if it is marketable or worth anything.?

1. Is this a print?

2. What gallery did your purchase it from and its location.

3. How much did you pay?

Apparantly a commercial artist but it's possible if you have an original painting that it could be worth something. You could have it appraised but it will cost $300. or more. They do not provide authentiticy, however.

You might try an auction house -- perhaps Bonham and Butterfields:

The biography states that he didn't do everything himself but "including delicate hand-colouring, done for him by a 14 year old girl from North Berwick". Who was that girl? Why isn't her name mentioned in the biography?
