@panzade,
The problem is, Marchand is now of value for more than just being a colossal
pain in the butt. I had thought he was cleaning up his act a bit, but nooooo.

@jcboy,
I hope one of your boys takes on hockey as a sport. You'll be a great hockey dad.

@ehBeth,
We shall see, Antonio is still into baseball and not really interested in Hockey so we shall see what Alex Martin’s favorite sport is. So far he’s only interested in hiding in empty boxes. Cool

@panzade,
The NHL All-Star Skills Competition is tonight. There's an Apple TV app for that and I have a cable login. Events include accuracy shooting, hardest shot, fastest skater, and a few others. It's probably more exciting than tomorrow's All-Star "Game" which is now a 3-on-3 mini tournament but still silly.

@panzade,
The NHL Western Conference All-Stars have Johnny Gaudreau, Dylan Larkin, and Tyler Seguin in the same locker room. Is there a pay per view stream I can buy? Cool

I think I'll read this thread from the beginning, I might learn about a new sport to me. I'm needing a break from political wrangling, and some other non a2k related stuff.

I've been running these NHL threads for a while osso.
Thing is, they're not very busy but all my fave A2Kers check in.
JC boy ,ehbeth, George, Rags Roger.etc.
Fun stuff.
BTW Just watched 2 Canuck sisters sing the Canadian anthem down in Nashville at the All-Stars
Wow
Sure is a purdy anthem.
Then Vince Gill did the American one with his 16 year old daughter.
Wow.
The apple don't fall far from the tree.

@panzade,
I've a lot to learn, not having been around it. Left Chicago area at 13 for California, hadn't been interested before that. When I did hear about it, it seemed sort of battery/bludgeoning on ice.
Sez she who puts up with and even likes american football, cough.

I'll be slow learning, especially with my computer ups and downs, but will start paying attention.
Hmm, I did used to love to ice skate..

Eric Staal goes from playing with brother Jordan in Raleigh to brother Marc in New York City.
Let's go Rangers!

Calgary's Dennis Wideman cross checks a linesman and gets banned for 20 games($500k)
Then tries to explain it was an accident.The players association backed him up
saying he had a concussion and was woozy.
Sordid.

And it looks like I will be left with no alternative but to cheer for my 8th favorite team, the Bruins, come play-off time, since none of the seven Canadian teams will be in it. Sad

@Kolyo,
I know, right?
I think it's partly due to the Canadian dollar making it hard for Canuck teams to compete

@jcboy,
The Rangers have been mortgaging their future for the last 5 years.
This is their last chance. They're already the oldest team in the NHL and will have to start retooling next year
