Question number 19 of latest challenge. Anyone getting anywhere with this one? Not googling very sucessfully at present. Any hints/clues/swops appreciated.
@Ramires7,
I managed 19 but have gaps at 15, 18, 30, 40 and 50 despite extensive googling!!
@NoGreyMatter,
Clues/hints: No. 50, think Western Film 1960. No. 30. Anagram: HI BIRD CLEMENTE. A clue for 19 would be appreciated. I'm struggling with 40 also!
@Ramires7,
Sorry to be negative but I'm not sure I agree with the anagram for 30.
@djmple,
The anagram leads to another clue which needs to be googled and perused. Ultimately we're looking for a stage play. Just trying to help. If you have different answer a hint would be nice?
@Ramires7,
In Q 19, the geographical feature is almost a pudding.
@NoGreyMatter,
Thank you. Penny dropped and I've cracked it now - tricky though! Now for number 40............. Anyone solved it and has hints to swop?
@Ramires7,
I've confirmed No 30 thanks to your tip, but am still searching for inspiration with No 50.
@NoGreyMatter,
Great western, influenced by a classic film made 6 years before.
@Ramires7,
Thank you. Q40 became much easier when I double checked my answer to Q 43 and realised my original jockey had not ridden in India pre-World War II. The correct answer to 43 made 50 doable. I must remind myself to be more careful in future!!!!
@NoGreyMatter,
completely lost with the clue
@Sylvan,
I think NoGreyMatter is talking about number 50, rather than 40 - well I hope so anyway!!
@gumpy01,
<In Q 19, the geographical feature is almost a pudding>.
This is the clue which has stumped me
@gumpy01,
Come on Gumpy whats another name for pudding in posh houses
@djmple,
duh! totally off the mark with what I was thinking. Thanks - now to find them
@gumpy01,
Got them now. On to my other hard to finds
@gumpy01,
Apart from #40 which seems to be stumping most can anyone offer a crumb of a hint for #21?
@gumpy01,
Forget that - have at long last found it
