The Likelihood of A Literary Movement in A (Post) Post-Modern Era

It is pretty much agreed that we're living in a post (some would argue post-post) modern age. My initial post for this discussion will revolve primarily around literature, but discussion of other art forms is welcome. Have we exhausted artistic innovation? I understand that digital media is a fairly new medium for artists, but I'm not referring to innovation in artistic application; rather, the conceptual or artistic principles off of which an artist bases his/her art. The most notable characteristic, I feel, with today's experimental, hybrid, or otherwise unconventional forms of literature is the, almost, tasteless integration of past styles and genres into one literary conglomeration of originality-for-sake-solely-of-originality. With most of the 'avant-garde' works I have read, I'm unable to discern any foundational principle or premise underlying the work. Has the onset of post-modern thought inhibited literary, or otherwise artistic, innovation? Is there any potential for a *new* (of course, nothing is genuinely new, but let's say predominately new) literary movement?
