It stands a few feet high. Wooden box with a fold out shelf. The box itself is empty with no shelves. Links below are to two different photos - one with the shelf down and one with it up. Does anyone know the use for this item?

@sparkle2,
It's about 36 in wide... for the record. Still searching for answers. :-(

@sparkle2,
What does the back or bottom look like/
Sure there aren't any hidden doors on the sides?
Some kind of hamper, perhaps?

@PUNKEY,
I was sort of thinking radiator cover, or if it had a rail or two at the top, Osso could use it as a pasta dryer.

It's an ordinary shoe dresser - perhaps with some parts inside missing.

Or a shelving piece for a motor home.

@ehBeth,
could be, but don't you think it's too small? And there's no flooring inside? We have a bedhead like this at home.

Assuming that the entire inside is open (cant tell for sure) that looks like a toy box. I have seen some like that, 1980's I think.

@hawkeye10,
Actually, if that door does not go all the way down then not. I would have to go with a blanket storage box. Rare, it would go in a fussy well heeled home.
