Probably many a designated driver could use a good stiff drink when he gets home. Imagine enduring an excruciatingly dull party stone sober.

Sober is the way that I have been for some time, now. I just avoid dull parties, I guess ;D.

Interested in many things, a journey with a soul mate soon to meet. The spirit of the adventure is the uncertainty of its outcome.

Outcome of life is nearly always different than expectation. The difference between happiness and misery is how well we can handle this.

This is very true. It is in general not the decision we take that is wrong, but the way we deal with it.

It seems to frighten many people to actually make decisions to take control of their lives. They tend to be passive and may make major decisions only by default, or when pressured by external circumstances.

Circumstances of yesterday brought today to us. We are today, not because of yesterday, we are today because of where we want to be tomorrow.

Tomorrow is only a possibility, and I believe we have to live fully in the present. If we want the future to be different, we have to act today.

Today moves quickly into yesterday; the past is growing all the time. Make it something on which to look back fondly.

Fondly as we may look back, and those who can number among the more fortunate among us, it is necessary also to square the shoulders, summon up the blood, a boldly look forward. From time to time.

Time exists differently for humans and animals and is a concept that is constantly changing.

Changing perceptions of time's passage become very evident as we grow older. Time seems to fly by so quickly for me now.

Now that I have a brown cow, I need to find a meadow for it.
A meadow with an ocean view would be nice; there are several a few miles north of me.

Methinks a cow in a meadow with an ocean view sounds liks a bucolic idyll. Will the cow be alone in the meadow, or will it have any company?

Company, as in Brown Cows, Inc. or How Now Enterprises? Why have you got a cow, Osso, if it isn't a rude question?

Question authority, left unquestioned cows may want to stay in the barn, never to lie on the pasture to warn us of the approaching storm.

Storm clouds are gathering in Hong Kong as I write; but the light is stunning with all the clouds shifting and changing against the glassy curtain wall buildings and the choppy leaden sea.

Sea, by the sea, I need to be by the sea. My small town is wrapped by ocean and bay; the quality of light here is one of the reasons I love it so.
