@spikepipsqueak,
'Big Fat Love' is a song on John Prine's 'Lost Dogs and Mixed Blessings' album. John Prine is a fabulous singer/songwriter who suffered throat cancer but lived to sing again.

@aidan,
Again the weather is warming up downunder. 41 degrees is forecast for Thursday, enough to drive a man to drink.

@Dutchy,
Drink and eat sure seem to be inevitable parts of certain people's conversation!

@verbivore,
Conversation is a face-to-face discussion between two or more people. The general subject is usually a topic that interests everybody present.

(Verbivore your submission must consist of two sentences) Smile

@Dutchy,
Present giving is often a euphemistic method of paying for it. Nellie never takes straight cash but a diamond ring gets you anything you can think up.

@spendius,
Up yours Spendius - (just kidding- you made it impossible to resist). Nellie doesn't even like diamonds- didn't you know that?

Spendius -Now feel bad that I made a joke - I read that your cat died right after I posted this - I really am sorry, and if I'd known - I'd never had said up yours at this particular moment.

The word is THAT

@aidan,
That is letting the cat out of the bag after the horse has bolted! No doubt you will be forgiven Aidan as spendi is a true gentleman when it comes to dealing with members of the opposite sex.

As are you Dutchy - a true gentleman I mean. Thanks for your assurances.

Sex can be a contract to some people, fun to others , or the deepest expression of appreciation and delight in who a specific person is to someone. I think it's best if you can achieve or convey at least two out of the three during any given encounter-unless it's just purely fun- seeing that the contractual aspect would make the whole deal seem pretty deadening if taken alone.

@aidan,
Alone can be a rewarding lifestyle when it is by choice. It provides a unique feeling of freedom and you can do whatever you want.

*Thank you for your kind comments Aidan.

Want to go on a picnic? We could have fried chicken and chocolate cake. Laughing

@aidan,
Alone on the windswept snowfield the intrepid artic explorer opened a packet of Auntie Bessie's Jam Roly-Poly and heated the contents in a billycan on his survival stove. Mixing a cupful of snow with his Auntie Bessie's custard powder, warming it and pouring it over the pudding he suddenly began singing What a Wonderful World.

@aidan,
Cake is a very flexible footstuff. Somebody showed me a clip off You Tube the other day of a young lady sitting on a cream cake after taking off her pants and then trumping into the camera spraying chocolate cream particles all over the place in something of a random pattern which it would be in poor taste to describe in detail.

Cake and chicken are two of my favourites foods. A picnic in the outback would be an eye opener for you my dear friend. Smile

Dream whatever you like my dark eyed beauty. However I will never refuse an invitation to a picnic from a friendly and well meaning lady.

@Dutchy,
Lady doctors can be quite embarrassing. When I was a mere innocent young man I had to have a medical and a lady doctor came in all business-like ( she had a a bit of a moustache) and said "drop 'em", meaning my trousers, and gripping my testicles medium tight, instructed me to cough which I did, whereupon she said "you'll do" and ticked my chit as fit for the job in hand.

@spendius,
Hand size is a very important aspect to consider when choosing a doctor if you're a woman. When I was pregnant with and delivering my son, my obstetricians were a husband and wife team and I have to tell you, although I liked and trusted the male doctor implicitely, I always breathed an inward sigh of relief when I arrived at the office to find his wife on duty as I found her exams much less uncomfortable and stressful- a lesson I've never forgotten when choosing a gynocologist.

@aidan,
Gynecologist visits make many women cringe and suffer with anxiety. Most concerns are the gender of the gynecologist with feelings of discomfort, embarrassment, personal intrusion and the fear of finding a serious problem.

@Dutchy,
some years ago i got rather seasick on a cruise along the pacific coast .
too late for pills - so off to see the ship's doctor .
doctor : "nurse ! "
nurse : "i'll give you a needle and you'll be fine " .
i held out my arm .
nurse shook her head : "drop 'em ! " .
it worked - but i felt like archie bunker when he had to "drop em" for the nurse .
