It's a steal says the Microsoft advertisement in our news-papers. The Ultimate Office 2007 programme just $75.00 for Australian Students outright.

Outright robbery, anything that Microsoft charges in my opinion, and I'm annoyed I have to use anything they produce. In a world without barriers and walls who needs Gates and Windows?

Windows and gates are very handy things. Only last night it was pouring down and blowing sideways and if it wasn't for my picture window my telly would have got ruined and the carpet would have needed hanging out to dry and if it wasn't for gates there would be cows and sheep all over the place.

Place mats and napery are sold in Marks and Spencer along with furniture now. Every store seems to proliferate goods which aren't natural to it - Asda's clothes, Sainsbury's bank...

Fields of sheep and cows seem to have given way in the West Country to arable. People may eat less meat nowadays.

Nowadays almost every home has a computer and can access the Internet. This is in stark contrast to 30 years ago when only very few people had access to this medium.

Medium sized fish and chips is 800 calories, which is half the daily allowance for most women. No wonder we're a fat generation.

Generation is one of the principle activities of mankind. In fact, not to put too fine a point on it, if it wasn't we would soon become extinct.

Extinct means the cessation of existence of a species. The moment of extinction is generally considered to be the death of the last individual of that species.

Species study was the speciality of Charles Darwin, but that's not all he knew. A right clever dick.

Dick Whittington had a cat which he sold to a sea captain who sold it to the Queen. It chased all the rats away and Dick became famous.

Famous people are a dime a dozen. Just as Google to give you a list of famous names and you need a lifetime to study them all.

All cats are carnivores, Dutchy is a carnivore, therefore he's a cat. That's an example of poor logic.

Logic is not generally a feature of feminine thinking. On balance that is probably a good thing if one thinks deeply and logically about it.

Logic is the art of good reasoning. Reasoning is a kind of thinking that aims at a conclusion.

It is absolutely ridiculous to attribute logic only to men. Logic is one tool in a whole armory of ways of dealing with the world, and it can be honed to perfection in any gender of brain.

Brain power attached to the male species is much superior to the feminine attribute, as is amply illustrated amongst these pages.

Pages and pages have been written about the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Yet, here we are 4 years later, and still no solution has been found.

Found, one driving licence! I'm so happy, I thought I'd gone crazy and lost it, but it was in my purse all the time in a hidden pocket!
