That being said, there are cops who neglect their primary duty.
Many cops in Russia are thugs with a badge!

Badges of honour come in many forms. They are awarded for heroic deeds on the battlefield but also to sporting heroes.

Heroes are people who take risks on behalf of others without any thought of personal reward. Sportspersons are driven by nothing but the prospect of personal reward.

Reward for justice is an American initiative to combat terrorist attacks. They ask you if you have information about past or future acts of terrorism.

Terrorism has killed far fewer people than, say, drunken drivers. Yet I don't hear much abou the war on drink.

Drink is a major problem in society today. Yet, no Government in the world where alcohol is available is game enough to tackle this problem because of the income they derive from it in the way of excise.

Excise duty will be collected on something else if those things it is levied on now fall into desuetude. Thus, smokers and drinkers are protecting such things as the DIY and food industries on the obvious evidence that governments are addicted to the amount of money they need and the notion that if they collected nothing from drinkers and smokers they would simply manage without is in the realm of play-pen economics.

Economics-driven societies are bad. As the poet said "Ill fares the land, to hastening ills a prey/Where wealth accumulates, and men decay."

Decay means to fall into ruin. As I see it, this is happening to our present society.

Society ladies have always been known to have an eye out for the main chance. Bit it's the quiet ones you have to watch.

Watch your back is what the doctors always tell you when performing heavy work. Ignore their advice and you'll finish up with back strain or worse.

Worse things have happened at sea is what people say when you are whingeing about something small or comparatively insignificant. Better things have also sometimes happened at sea.

Sea travel is second nature to me, I do it all the time. Do you want to hear some of the better things that happened to me out there?

Members are forbidden spitting and feeling up the bar staff. They should conduct themselves as gentlemen as befitting a high class establishment like wot this is.
